I hope you are doing well and the spring sun has been shining brightly for you! 🌻

Here is the updated timeline for this project:

January 23, 2025: Pintopia 2025 launches!
February 13, 2025: Pintopia 2025 ends
February 14-28, 2025: Surveys building & Smoke Test sent out
March 1 - 15: Surveys are collected and manufacture artwork is being completed
March 16 - April 1: Manu proofs are approved and production begins
🎉 April - June: In production 🎉
June - Pins are completed, sorted and carded
July/August - Pins are sent out to their new homes! 🌿

The pins/magnets are currently in production. I am waiting on some process photos that I can hopefully share with you! 

I'm sure this is not news to anyone, but I have been pushing this update again and again to try to determine how to navigate what is happening in this wild world right now. The tariff situation is paralyzing at best for nearly every small artist I have talked to.

I have a slightly different situation to deal with as I am a Canadian 🇨🇦 small business. This means I receive my products from China, sort/grade/package and send them to you. Due to the removal of the de minimis exemption, this means that there will be an outrageous 145% increase charge on all packages going to the USA 📦 (again, I am NO expert - this has been insane to try to follow and understand)

I am holding out hope that as we inch closer to mail-out time (which looks to be closer to August) there will be some more clarity around what is happening, or better yet, this will not be an issue any longer. I will be looking into the best options as we get closer to mail-out time.

Hello everyone!

Just some itty bitty updates to share with you - I wanted to make sure I wasn't radio silent for too long! The pins are currently in production 😄🌿 This is definitely the most boring part of an enamel pin crowdfunding campaign... waiting! 👀 ⏰

When I receive the pins, I will then start sorting and grading them to ensure backers get the highest graded pins. Once the grading is completed, I sort them into envelopes to get ready to ship! 📦 I will ensure to give notice when I am ready to charge cards! 💳

I am building a new campaign that you may be interested in! 🎏 I have made some Japan 🇯🇵 inspired designs. Some designs have moving parts, chains and stained glass 🍥🏯

Hello everyone!

I wanted to thank you again for all of the fantastic support - I am so excited to be bringing Part 2 of Build-A-Forest Friend to life 🌿✨ I hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating the designs!

I've been a busy bee in the background creating the surveys - this was quite the endeavour as I accidentally deleted it once... 👀 ANYWAY. Masks from Part 1 will be avaliable as part of the regular survey so there are even more options for you to choose from (part of the reason redoing the questions took me so darn long hehe). The masks from Part 1 will also be available as an add-on as well in case one of them tickles your fancy!

The Smoke Test surveys will be heading out soon. What is a Smoke Test you ask? It's the survey, but it is only sent to a small percentage of Backers to ensure that the survey is working as it should, and allows me to work out any kinks as they come up. Keep an eye on those inboxes - it's comin' atcha soon! 👀

We are nearing the end of Pintopia 2025 - what a ride! 🌿✨ I have been working hard on the backend of things - hoping that the surveys will be nice and simple when they are ready to send 📝 Just some notes on surveys and pledge levels:

🍁 Part 1 magnetic masks will be available as a survey option and add-ons! You can browse the previous campaign here!

An image with masks and their naming conventions will be provided before the selection screen - you can use this to aid in choosing your masks. On the selection screen, there will be an image of the mask that will show up when you have selected from the dropdown box.
